The experience I had at that camp was something I would have never expected. I met a lot of amazing people and a lot of amazing coaches. I learned a lot from the camp. I also learned what it takes to be a student-athlete. This camp made me realize how much work I still needed for wrestling and working with the head coach Troy Nickerson helped me learn and fix a lot of the mistakes that I’ve had with wrestling for a while. Something that happened at the camp was I managed to practice and wrestle with the heavyweight from UNC and I also got to meet some amazing wrestlers from other high schools from other states. This camp also taught me how to live on my own and how College students live.
